“Louvre” – Paris

     This Palace of Arts proudly bears the title of the most visited museum of the world with nearly nine million visits per year. The most recognizable symbols of the Louvre are the glass pyramid that serves as the main entrance and the famous "smile of Mona Lisa" painted by Leonardo da Vinci. The painting that attracts the attention of every visitor is the "Liberty leading the people" (Ferdinand Victor Eugene Delacroix) as a dramatic display of the French Revolution.

“Musée d’Orsay” - Paris

     The capital of France has another museum that should not be omitted from the list of the most beautiful. “Prado” – Madrid

     "Prado National Museum" boasts one of the most comprehensive collections of European painting because it housed artists such as Diego Velazquez, Francisco Jose de Goya, Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Sandro Botticelli, Tintoretto, Peter Paul Rubens and many others. It has a rich collection of Greek and Roman sculpture.

     He is best known and most visited museum of contemporary art of Europe that includes works of Henri Matisse, Picasso, Mark Roth and Andy Warhol. The collection includes works that were created from 1900 to the present and includes courses such as Cubism, Futurism, Hyper-Realism and Pop Art. 

"Hermitage" - Saint Petersburg

     This imposing museum within its three million pieces (only a small portion available to the public) has the largest collection of paintings in the world. It is said that if you looked for a minute every exhibit in the museum should take you about 11 years to see the entire collection! "Hermitage" has a large collection of Italian Renaissance painters, Flemish Baroque painters, impressionists and post impressionists, as well as a collection of oriental art.
